Social Projects Online (SPO) is a web based donation service allowing the public to donate to projects listed by various non-profit organisations which utilise the eGive service at www.eGive.org.au. Any accredited non-profit which lists on eGive automatically has any of the projects it submits to eGive listed on this site, thus providing a "one-stop" site through which the public can donate to a wide range of social projects.

Social Projects Online is a project of the Avalon Trust which manages a range of services for non-profit organisations and provides services to them. The Avalon Trust is not itself a non-profit organisation but it provides its services and facilities to community organisations at cost price or at highly subsidised rates. These include facilities such as free office space and subsidised meeting space. More information on the Avalon Trust can be viewed here

Other services managed by the Avalon Trust include eGive which is a service owned by Environment Projects Australia which provides a wide range of services to non-profit organisations at very low prices. These include ecommerce services, campaign facilities, web sites, databases, membership and online conference payment facilities and e-newsletter services. The Avalon Trust also manages EPA's Working Asset's Program (in cooperation with Primus Telecom) offering the public a simple and cost free way to support non-profits.
